Spotify came with the request to concept and develop an animation that brings awareness to the launch of their new in-app trailer creating feature Anchor. This new App would allow podcasters to easily produce their episode and create a trailer to promote themselves on social all at once.

Goals of the project:

Create bespoke illustrations to create imaginative compositions that support the narrative.
Design Direction
I took a whimsical approach to the narrative, playing directly on the word 'Trailer' by animating from a fantastical desert scene into the in-app UI itself. That shift visualizes the actual in-app trailer creation process without ever feeling like a tutorial.
