Google is a client I've worked with for years, and an NDA means I can't share that work directly. This piece exists so that experience doesn't go entirely unseen, a self-directed motion piece built around the Google Meet, made to celebrate the place where we all connect.

Goals of the project:

Pull from my years of working with Google as a client to create a Google fan piece paying homage to the Google Meet, where I take most of my meetings.

Hold the same craft bar as client-facing work, despite this being self-initiated.

Explore hard cut transitions and have the motion carry across from shot to shot.

Include SFX (sound effects) to enhance the movements and bring depth to their energy.

Design Direction

Storytelling with minimal shapes to bring visuals to complex ideas is always a fun challenge. I wanted to show Google's bright and colorful esthetic and apply it across an array of compositions made up of simple and clear shapes. Subtle gradients sprinkled throughout the designs help add interest for the eye and bring some depth to the compositions.
