Goals of the project:
-
Turn a weekend of event footage, stage moments, streamer cameos, fan reactions, into one continuous piece of hype, not a highlight reel
-
Match the tone of the piece itself: mock epic fantasy voiceover colliding head-on with internet meme culture
-
Keep the motion moving at the pace of the actual weekend : knighting moments, high profile streamer quests, a DJ set, an unplanned rap feud, and a Bob Ross inspired community painting session
-
Give Grasslord real presence as a character on screen, not just a mascot making a cameo

Design Direction
The video had to hold two tones at once : mock epic fantasy and pure internet meme without either one undercutting the other. I leaned into a mythic title treatment for Grasslord's name set against real, chaotic event footage, then let the graphic layer loosen up and go more meme-native as the piece moves through fan reactions, chat overlays, and social clips. The goal was motion that felt as at home in a Twitch chat as it did on a convention stage.
